In June 2023, the Oregon Legislature passed Senate Bill 619, the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (the “OCPA” or “the law”), codified at ORS 646A.570–646A.589. The OCPA was signed into law by Governor Kotek and takes effect July 1, 2024. Our Services and this Privacy Policy are intended to align with OCPA obligations applicable to our business operations in Oregon.
The Oregon Department of Justice (DOJ) has prepared Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for consumers and businesses to help with the law’s implementation. A link to the Privacy Law FAQs for Consumers can be found on the DOJ Consumer Privacy page.
Important notes about the DOJ FAQs: The FAQs address select provisions of the OCPA and do not cover all potentially applicable laws or enforcement circumstances; the Civil Enforcement Division will make case-by-case enforcement determinations. The FAQs do not implement, interpret, or make specific the law enforced or administered by the Oregon DOJ, establish substantive policy or rights, constitute legal advice, or reflect the views of the Attorney General. The FAQs do not provide options for alternative relief or safe harbor from potential violations. The statute controls in the event of any conflicting interpretation. The FAQs are hypothetical examples of how a business might review its practices. Businesses should consult the statute and/or an attorney before taking any action to ensure compliance with the law.
We use analytics services to help us understand how visitors use our website and to improve our Services. Depending on the provider and configuration, analytics may collect information such as page views and navigation, links clicked, referral/exit pages, general geolocation (derived from IP address), device and browser details, language preferences, session duration, and events (e.g., errors). Analytics providers operate their own technologies (e.g., cookies, device identifiers) and process data under their own privacy notices.
Where supported, we configure analytics to limit the collection and retention of personal information (for example, by reducing IP address precision). We do not use analytics for targeted advertising. Your choices include managing cookies in your browser, using built‑in tracking protections, or using provider‑specific opt‑out mechanisms (where available). Disabling analytics cookies may affect certain website features.
We use third‑party payment processors to accept payments for our Services (for example, card or digital wallet payments). We do not store full payment card numbers or CVV codes on our systems. Our payment processors collect and process payment information in accordance with their own privacy notices and security certifications (e.g., PCI DSS). We may receive limited payment‑related details from the processor—such as the last four digits of your card, transaction date, amount, and status—for recordkeeping, receipts, refunds, and fraud prevention.
If you pay by non‑card methods (e.g., cash or check), we record basic transaction information (e.g., amount, date, invoice number) but do not create or retain card data. In the event of chargebacks, disputes, or suspected fraud, we may share relevant information with the payment processor, your bank, or law enforcement as permitted by law. We retain invoices and transaction records consistent with our Data Retention section (typically up to seven (7) years to satisfy tax and bookkeeping requirements).
